Building a Kinder Pune Together

At Saahas, we believe that real change begins with awareness. Our outreach initiatives focus on building empathy and practical understanding of animal care among school children, college students, and corporate teams.

School Programs: We conduct awareness sessions teaching children how to safely interact with animals — covering first aid, animal behaviour, responsible feeding, and how to seek help. Our collaboration with iTeach spanned nine government schools across Pune. We've also conducted sessions at Indus International School, Sanskriti School, and with Responsible Charity.

College Engagement: Students from Symbiosis College of Economics, Symbiosis School of Liberal Arts, PCCOE, Balaji Institute, and Indira College regularly volunteer at our shelter — working directly with animals and supporting feeding drives.

Corporate Volunteering: Organisations like Northern Trust, Coupa, Worbay, and Orange Pet Nutrition have visited our shelter to volunteer and contribute to our initiatives. Many partnerships have led to donation drives and CSR collaborations.
